Abstract :
The construction of the Dumai Islamic Center (DIC) complex in Dumai City is located on Jalan HR. Soebrantas. Based on conditions in the field before the operation of the DIC, the Degree Saturation (DJ) value on Jalan HR Soebrantas was recorded at 0.48 in 2022, indicating the potential for congestion. It is estimated that if there is no traffic performance evaluation, the DJ will increase to 1.19 in the next 10 years. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate the performance of the segments and intersections on HR Soebrantas Road to address the congestion problems that may arise due to the operation of the DIC. One method that can be used to analyze the performance of sections and intersections is the Indonesian Road Capacity Guidelines (PKJI) 2023. The purpose of this study is to determine the performance of the HR Soebrantas intersection under current and future conditions. Currently, the DJ value at the peak hour of Jl.HR. Soebrantas is 0.24, indicating stable traffic flow conditions according to MKJI 1997.
