Abstract :
Lack of adequate information about tourist destinations on Bengkalis Island so that not many domestic and foreign tourists know the potential of tourist destinations on Bengkalis Island. Therefore, this needs to be overcome by providing web-based information media that is useful for introducing tourist destinations on Bengkalis Island. Web-based information applications are media that have elements of text, animated images. These elements make this media attractive. The research method carried out is by collecting data through literature studies, interviews, and observations, as well as analyzing software requirements, building databases with mysql, designing interfaces using Figma and PHP, testing programs as the final stage in making web-based tourism information systems. By using the PHP-based web programming language, a Web-based Tourism Object and Business Information Application for Tourism Areas on Bengkalis Island was built. This application provides features of a list of attractions, info about attractions, information about MSMEs, and information about attractions and attractions and also tourist routes that are integrated with Google Maps. These features are provided to make it easier for users to obtain information and travel to a tourist attraction.
