Abstract :
This research was conducted against the background of an increase in TOL tariffs on the Dumai-Pekanbaru route. Therefore, an analysis of the impact of the toll tariff increase on the operating costs of passenger vehicles, especially travel cars on the Dumai-Pekanbaru toll route, was carried out. The focus of the analysis is on the operating costs of Innova 2.0 E and Innova Reborn 2.4 G using the Ministry of Transportation method. The results showed that the increase in toll rates from Rp 118,000 to Rp 171,500 had an impact on total vehicle operating costs. The vehicle operating cost for Innova 2.0 E is Rp 4,308.05/km from the previous Rp 3,906.40, and for Innova Reborn 2.4 G is Rp 3,683.48/km from the previous Rp 3,418.00. The final fare per passenger was IDR 158,987.72 for Innova 2.0 E from the previous IDR 144,164.86 and IDR 135,937.79 from the previous IDR 126,140.37 for Innova Reborn 2.4 G. Although the toll tariff increased, the impact on the operating costs of the travel car company was not significant, because the passenger tariff applied was still sufficient to cover all operational costs and provide a profit. This research shows that the Permata Bunda company is able to adjust passenger fares efficiently, namely Rp 160,000 / Passenger, so as to continue to obtain optimal margins and profits.
