Abstract :
Auditing the correspondence information system in Rimbas Sekampung Village by applying the COBIT 5 framework, especially in the Align, Plan, and Organize (APO) domain. The APO domain in COBIT 5 provides comprehensive guidance for ensuring that information technology is aligned with organizational goals, planned effectively, and organized efficiently. The research began with an in-depth understanding of the current correspondence information system in Rimbas Sekampung Village. Next, the COBIT 5 APO framework is applied to evaluate the extent to which the information system is aligned with the village's strategic goals, the effectiveness of the information technology planning process, and the efficiency of the organizational structure related to managing correspondence. The audit area includes establishing an effective information technology governance structure, developing information technology policies and strategies that are in line with village goals, as well as optimizing information technology resources through appropriate planning and organization. This research uses a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods to assess the maturity and effectiveness of the APO process. It is hoped that the results of this audit will provide valuable insights and recommendations to improve the correspondence information system in Rimbas Sekampung Village, so that it is not only in line with village needs but also makes a positive contribution to the efficiency and effectiveness of correspondence management.
