Abstract :
The purpose of this study is to find out (1) How is the Mechanism of Data Collection on Prices of Staple Food Commodities in Bengkalis Regency in 2020 (2) Comparison of Prices of Staple Food Commodities in Bengkalis Subdistrict and Bukit Batu Subdistrict in Bengkalis Regency (3) What are the efforts of the Bengkalis Food Security Service in overcoming the problem of food prices in Bengkalis Regency. The results of this study indicate that (1) The mechanism for collecting data on food commodity prices in Bengkalis Regency carries out several stages starting from making decrees, socialization, price monitoring, data collection, price calculations, filling out forms, price data processing, price analysis and price recapitulation, report generation. price to be reported to SETDA. (2) Comparison of the prices of staple food commodities in Bengkalis and Bukit Batu sub-districts does not experience much difference in prices. The price difference occurs due to the addition of administrative costs and transportation costs. (3) The efforts of the Bengkalis Regency Food Security Service in overcoming the problem of food commodity prices in Bengkalis Regency. By utilizing the Karangan land through planting food diversification around the house, collaborating with BUMDes, collaborating with BULOG, and carrying out activities to increase diversification of food consumption based on local food and LCM (Menu Creation Competition).
