Abstract :
The intersection of Antara- Gatot Subroto street in Bengkalis City, is one of the intersections in the city of Bengkalis which has a fairly busy traffic. However, the condition of the radius of a small bend at East arms, which is only 5.1 m, causes vehicles, especially four-wheeled wheels to turn, resulting in slow motion of the vehicle at the intersection. To overcome this problem, it is necessary to redesign the intersection, rearrange the complementary buildings and equipment and then calculate the costs required for the work. This work aims to increase the comfort and safety of road users passing through these intersections. In planning the intersection, it refers to PKJI 2014 to evaluate the performance of the intersection, while for the geometric it refers to RSNI T-14-2004 B and the Planning Procedure for Pd. T-02-2002-B, cost planning refers to AHSP 2016. Based on the results of the calculation of intersection performance referring to PKJI 2014, the value of the degree of the East arm saturation in 2020 is 0.972, in 2030 is 1.558. After the expansion of the East arm is planned, the degree of saturation is 0.7792. The work cost for widening the intersection is Rp. 732.479.833.
