Abstract :
The Tanjung Kapal road to Darul Aman is a road that connects the two villages. This road
has pavement conditions that are no longer suitable for use because of damage. Therefore, the
Bengkalis Regency Public Works Office included the road in the Special Allocation Fund program
for the 2020 fiscal year with a rigid road pavement type. But the Ministry of Public Works and
Public Housing wants LHR, data carrying capacity and DDT survey data to determine the type of
pavement suitable for the road.
To answer the problems mentioned above, and as an objective of this plan, it is necessary
to plan the thickness of the road pavement using LHR data and basic soil carrying capacity data. On
the other hand, a comparison of the draft budget is needed for the type of rigid and flexible pavement.
Based on the results of planning with DDT and LHR data, the rigid pavement was obtained
using the Pd T-14-2003 method with a thickness of 160 mm with an estimated cost of Rp.
13.197.690.000,00-. Then, the flexible pavement method of the 2017 Road Planning Design Manual
is 100 mm thick with an estimated cost of Rp. 13.826.900.000.00-.
