Abstract :
To determine the amount of electrical power that is being used, it is
necessary to measure the use of electrical energy. Measurements like this are
usually done using a simple measuring instrument and manual recording so that
the data obtained cannot be done at any time and the results are too long to be
obtained. The design of the Internet-Based Electric power monitoring system is
designed to obtain information relating to the measurement of electrical energy,
including apparent power (VA), voltage (V), and current (A) in real time that can
be accessed from the Internet Network at any time. To connect to the internet this
tool uses Ethernet shield, and for monitoring display on the internet using Ubidot.
This monitoring system in 1 minute produces 60 data, the data is monitored in a
second. For the comparison value between the power read on the monitoring
display with a watt meter measuring instrument has an accuracy level above 90%
with a percentage error of 2,96 ? 7,28%.
