Abstract :
Voltage drop is an event of voltage drop at the end of the channel which
usually occurs on the distribution channel. Voltage drop can occur due to several
factors, the cross-sectional area of the conductor, the type of conductor used in
the channel and the length of the channel used can cause drop voltge. Voltage
drop can have a negative impact on electricity customers because it can damage
household electrical components. In this thesis will be discussed about voltage
drop and power loss in distribution networks that have variations in length
including, 25 m, 50 m, 75 m and 100 m. This analysis includes analysis of voltage
drop and power loss with manual calculations. From the results of these
calculations a conclusion can be drawn as a result of the analysis. Then it will
further examine the things that arise when there is a voltage drop and power loss.
