Abstract :
At present electricity demand is increasing due to population growth and
information technology progress. From the current reality, it can be seen that we
have to find alternative energy that can be used as a power plant. This study is
about changing the kinetic energy of a punch pin as a source of vibration
(pressure) into electrical energy, and this study is made in a prototype form. In his
research, the piezoelectric output was tested when pressurized from the pinwheel.
With the 201.3 RPM round wheel pin, a voltage of 2.055 VAC is obtained when it
has not passed the rectifier circuit, and after passing through the rectifier circuit
a voltage of 1.17 VDC is obtained. Measurements made at the time the
piezoelectric output enters the capacitor and then is given a load will obtain a
voltage of 1.6 VDC and a current of 17.4 ?A so as to obtain a power of 278.4 ?W.
At the time of charging the 22 ?F capacitor filled 1.89 V for 5 seconds.
