Abstract :
Farm thematic robots are robots designed to simulate planting rice that is controlled remotely wirelessly, pulling grass between rice stalks and harvesting rice. In this thesis the robot is controlled by a PS2 wireless joystick with an Arduino microcontroller. For clamps and rice cutters utilizing air pressure to push and pull the piston on the pneumatic cylinder which is regulated by selenoid valve. The maximum distance that can be reached in controlling this robot with the condition of no obstacles between the robot and the joystick is 50 meters, while the maximum distance that can be reached when there are obstacles in the form of glass doors and building walls between robots and joysticks is 25 meters and the usage time of the main of actuator 24V 5200 mAh with a 109 watt load is 1.13 hours. The success rate of robot control in this study was 91,6 %.
