Abstract :
The generator is a source of electrical energy in the electric power system,
so it needs to be protected from all disturbances so that the system does not get
damaged because the damage to the generator will greatly disrupt the electricity
provider. Protection system is the arrangement of equipment that is planned to be
able to measure the presence of interference and determine the location of the
disturbance, detecting abnormalities in the equipment in the electric power system
that automatically disconnects the load from the disturbed system. Based on the
background above, the authors try to make a generator safety system from
overload and voltage drop against the load. With the hope that it can be used as a
learning module in the electrical power protection practicum. The making of this
protection system has been done for 4 months in the electrical engineering
department which is the focus of genertor protection. This generator protection is
read using a ZMPT101B voltage sensor and ACS712 current sensor, for filtering
the voltage sensor at 150V voltage and 1.90A current censored for linear load
and filtering at 2.00A voltage sensor and 2.00A current censored for non-linear
load, current and voltage reach the settings the circuit will be interrupted.
