Abstract :
Agricultural products in Indonesia, especially in Bengkalis Regency, are the main source of meeting food needs. Irrigation of water and the provision of essential nutrients for plants to thrive, the current condition of farmers Irrigation and nutrition are currently still manual with a pulling hose and a gasoline or diesel fuel water pump. This paper was created as a form of assistance from the author to design an irrigation system and provide nutrition for agricultural land by utilizing solar cells. The design work system utilizes solar cells as a converter of solar energy into electrical energy as a source of electricity the system can work. Distribution of water sources to reservoirs using a DC water pump and regulating irrigation valves and providing nutrition using a solenoid valve as an automatic valve The results of efficient testing of solar cells without a load produce a voltage in sunny weather conditions with a voltage of 18,91 V, weather temperature 32° for a load, a solar cell produces a voltage of 18,91 V weather temperature 32° and current 2,64 A. Charging DC water pump to tandon can work in sunny conditions for 05.20 minutes Tandon capacity 73,4 L. Average irrigation flow is 0,96 L from 6% dry condition to 75% wet condition with a total of 75 polybags. The average amount of nutrients flows is 169 mL while good nutrition is 15 mL so that the % error is 10,26% with a total of 1600 stems of kale that can be nourished with a calculated tandon volume of 24 L. A total of 80 polybags with 1 polybag of 20 stems.
