Abstract :
The design of a structure building must be efficient but it also safe againts all of loads by still following the applicable standards, which is SNI 2847-2019. In this final project, a redesign of the beam was carried out by changing the main structure from steel into a reinforced concrete structure by taking case study of Rusunawa Satmako Brimob Building, Riau Islands Police. Re-planning is carried out to find out and compare the value of structural work using reinforced concrete with the initial structure using steel.The redesign of the structure beams in this final project is analysis and Modelling beam is carried out with the help of ETABS V.13 Program. Reinforcement planning in beams was analyzed using the Special Moment Bearing Frame System. There are several types of beams, one of which is based on the calculation of beam reinforcement, the amount of reinforcement is 4D19 & 2D19 in the support area and 3D19 in the field area with a stirrup distance of 2Ø10-70 at the support area, 2Ø10-140 in the field area and 2D13 body reinforcement is installed on the beam. Based on the results of the recap and the calculation of the Budget Plan, it is found that the value of the reinforced concrete structure work is Rp. 4,530,706,000 of the value of the initial structural work using a steel structure of Rp 4,348,320,583.30.
