Abstract :
Admission of new students is one of the processes that exist in educational institutions such as schools that are useful for screening prospective students who are selected according to the criteria determined by the school to become their students. In this study, the application is at Al Washiyah Vocational School which has been done conventionally and has not been computerized. So the author designed the Online New Student Admission Application (PPDB) at the Website-Based Al Washiyah Vocational School. This website-based acceptance of new students uses the HTML programming language, PHP with the Codeigniter framework and MySQL as a management system for the database. The design of this application aims to assist the school at the time of acceptance of new students, as well as assisting prospective new students in the registration process. Application testing is done by testing every feature on the system and has been tested by the Principal of SMK Al Washiyah as an admin and 1 other person as a prospective student. The results of testing this application are that this application is very helpful for school admins to manage the data of prospective students who register and also this application can run on various devices with any specifications, the most important being that it is connected to the internet and has a web browser application.
