Abstract :
This final project research aims to find out about the delays in the movement of containers in the stacking yard at PT. Greetings Pacific Indonesia Lines Pekanbaru. The formulation of the problem in this final project research is what the causes of delays in the movement of containers in the PT. Greetings Pacific Indonesia Lines is Pekanbaru, How the systems and procedures for the movement of containers there. The method used for data collection is observation where carried at PT. Greetings Pacific Indonesia Lines is Pekanbaru, how to deal with delays in containers movement at the PT. Greetings Pacific Indonesia Lines Pekanbaru out in the field directly and the method of interview or interview. The results of the study were delays in the movement of containers in the stacking field caused by the lack of warehouse capacity which could not accommodate the number of containers that descended from the ship to the stacking in the warehouse. Lack of fleet availability and delivery of containers not in accordance with warehouse requests.
