Abstract :
The amount of production of bread MSMEs every day is still being worked on
using semi-automatic methods, some of which are done by hand and partly with
result tools. The basic ingredients of bread (dough) from conventionally carried
out work cause an even dissolution of sizes for each piece of bread. The dough
dividing machine works by cutting the dough into several pieces of dough of the
same size, the machine will divide the dough quickly, thus making bread
production more effective and efficient. The cutting capacity of the dough is 50 60
grams. With an electric motor power of 1 HP, it is able to help divide the
dough with several different weights, namely 1 kg, 1.5 kg, 2 kg, 2.5 kg, producing
dough with a final weight of 38 grams, 44 grams, 52 grams and 61 grams. The
time gain becomes the level of efficiency of this bread dough dividing tool with the
fastest time found in the dough with a capacity of 1 kg which is 50 seconds and
the longest time is found in dough weighing 5 kg with a time of 5 minutes 20
seconds. With a speed of 1400 rpm on the electric motor the dough splitting
machine has a capacity of 60kg / h
