Abstract :
Bottom ash is a material that does not burn completely from the combustion of a material such as coal combustion. Bottom ash is obtained after the combustion is complete, usually bottom ash is attached to the bottom or wall of the furnace. The results of this test indicate that the use of bottom ash as a substitute sand has a good compressive strength value. After testing, it can be seen that this system can be used and gives a better value with a total compressive strength of 28.06 MPa The method used in this test is to make a concrete mixture using SNI 7656:2012 with bottom ash as a substitute for sand 10%, 20%, 30%, and 40%. The concrete that was treated for 7 days, 14 days, 21 days, and 28 days was then tested to get the compressive strength and density of the concrete. From the test results obtained the highest compressive strength value of 28.06 MPa with a variation of 30% bottom ash. This test shows that the compressive strength variation of 30% has a perfect compressive strength, compared to the compressive strength with a variation of 10% 20% 40%
