Abstract :
Building maintenance is an activity to repair and/or replace building parts,
components, building materials, and/or infrastructure and facilities so that the
building remains functional (currative maintenance).
Maintenance of this building is needed for the smoothness and comfort of
lecture activities at the Bengkalis State Polytechnic campus. The method used in
this study is a quantitative and descriptive method. This study aims to determine
the maintenance of buildings at the Bengkalis State Polytechnic through
maintenance management mechanisms, namely: what damage occurred to the
Electrical building, Civil (E) building, Shipping building, Maritime building of
the Bengkalis State Polytechnic, how the types of damage occurred to the
Electrical building, building Civil (E), Shipping building, Maritime building of
Bengkalis State Polytechnic, how much is the cost for maintaining Electrical
building, Civil building (E), Shipping building, Maritime building of Bengkalis
State Polytechnic. The results of this study are any damage that occurs, the type of
damage that occurs, and the costs for buildings that require maintenance. From the
results of the analysis that has been carried out, it is found that the most damage is
in the Maritime Building of the Bengkalis State Polytechnic with the level of
damage, namely light damage, the type of damage that is greatest is in the Civil E
Building, namely damage to concrete Dak which if it rains seepage will occur. on
the walls, the cost required for maintenance on all the buildings under review is
Rp. 34.999.816,51.
