Abstract :
Road geometry is focused on planning the physical form so as to produce a safe infrastructure. Problem identification includes everything that becomes a problem in reducing the level of service for the Kelapapati Laut road, one of which is horizontal alignment. The analysis finds out the type of bend on the Kelapapati Laut road and to find out the problem with the horizontal alignment, whether it meets the comfort and safety standards according to the 2021 Road Geometric Design Guidelines (PDGJ 2021) The results obtained are: the type of bend, namely the type of Full Circle (F-C) 2 bends, Spiral-circle-spiral 1 bend. The Rmin obtained is 82 m, the superelevation obtained at bend 1 is 3%, bend 2 is obtained 3%, and bend 4 is obtained at 4.03%. The obtained JPH is 67.6 m, and JPM is 279.23 m.
