Abstract :
This study aims to examine the effect of hardiness, self-efficacy and emotional intelligence on the decision to choose a career with moderation of social support from Tegal Stibusiness Polytechnic students.
The research population was 249 Tegal Stibusiness Polytechnic students and a sample of 153 respondents was calculated using the Slovin formula. Data analysis uses smart PLS by going through the outer model and inner model stages.
The results of the study show that hardiness, self-efficacy and emotional intelligence have a positive effect on the decision to choose a career. The moderating role of social support strengthens the influence of hardiness, self-efficacy and emotional intelligence on the decision to choose a career.
