Abstract :
This research aims to investigate the effect of compensation and job satisfaction on the performance of Pts Xyz employees in city of Semarang with work motivation as a moderating variable. In this research, the authors used the census technique or total sampling method in which members of the population taken as the research samples are 67 Pts Xyz employees. The Partial Least Square (PLS) method is applied in this research. The results obtained in this research indicated that compensation and motivation have a significant and positive effect on employees? performance. This is different from job satisfaction which does not affect employee performance. Compensation has a significant and positive indirect effect on employee performance through intermediaries of work motivation. This is different from job satisfaction which has no indirect effect on employee performance through intermediaries of work motivation.
