Abstract :
FinTech or Financial Technology is a field of finance combined with technology based on the industrial revolution 4.0. Progress aims to revolutionize financial services to become faster, more effective and efficient, and increasingly attractive to the people of Indonesia. However, the use of this technology has not been fully understood and won the trust of consumers. Evidenced by the many 'false investments' or online loan fraud. Trust is considered important because it relates to the interaction relationship between financial organizations and their customers. This study aims to find out how the influence of individual psychological dispositions on trust in FinTech through trust in financial organizations, AI and related technologies in Y and Z generations in the city of Semarang, using the PLS-SEM method with 215 respondents, the survey was conducted via Google form. The results of this study found that an individual's psychological disposition to trust positively and not significantly affects trust in FinTech. However, an individual's psychological disposition to trust positively and significantly influences trust in financial organizations and trust in AI and related technologies. Trust in financial organizations and trust in technology are related directly and indirectly (mediating), positively and significantly influencing trust in FinTech.
