Abstract :
This research aims to test empirically the effect of capital structure and profitability on firm value. Parameters of capital structure using Debt to Assets Ratio and Debt to Equity Ratio, profitability using Return on Equity and Earning per Share, company value using Price to Book Value. The method used is quantitative research with a population that includes food and beverage sub-sector companies listed on the IDX. Sampling with purposive sampling. The type of data used is secondary data in the form of financial reports processed from the publication of the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the form of financial reports of sample companies for the period 2019 ? 2021. Data analysis using panel data regression method. The analysis tool uses computer software Eviews 12. The results of the study show that (i) debt to assets ratio (DAR) has no positive effect on firm value (price to book value), (ii) debt to equity ratio (DER) has no negative effect on firm value (price to book value), return on equity (ROE) has a positive effect on firm value (price to book value), and (iv) earnings per share (EPS) has no positive effect on firm value (price to book value).
