Abstract :
This research was conducted to determine the effect of operational efficiency measured by CAR (Capital Adequacy Ratio), FDR (Financing to Deposit Ratio), BOPO and NPL (Non Performing Loan) to the profitability of ROE (Return On equity) and ROA (Return On Asset). Sampling technique used was purposive sampling with the criteria of Islamic business units which present the financial statements of the period 2006-2009. Data obtained by the publication of the Indonesian Banking Directory 2006-2009. Number of samples obtained as many as 14 units of sharia. Analysis technique used is multiple linear regression, with the assumption of classical test and hypothesis testing using t test to determine the effect of each independent variable on the dependent variable and the f test to determine the effect of co-cooperation between the independent variables on the dependent variable. During the study period showed that the research data are normally distributed and not found variables that deviate from the classical assumptions. It indicates that data is available are eligible to use the model of multiple linear regression equation. From the results of the analysis indicate that CAR and FDR significant positive effect on profitability. BOPO significant negative effect. However, NPL no significant effect on profitability.
