Abstract :
PKP-PK is a work unit that is part of the field of ground operations which
has the task of providing assistance for aviation accidents and fire fighting as well
as handling emergency situations in the airport environment. Every airport
operator is obliged to provide and provide PKP-PK services at the airport with
standards that are in accordance with technical and operational standards. The
purpose of this study is to determine the emergency service facilities, to determine
the reaction time, to analyze the PKP-PK category, to analyze fire risk
management, and to describe what follow-up actions were taken to improve PKP?PK at Banyuwangi International Airport. This type of research is quantitative
descriptive. Data obtained from the results of questionnaires to PKP-PK
personnel and data from the PKP-PK unit at Banyuwangi International Airport.
The questionnaire data was processed by testing the validity and reliability and
the relationship between the variables X and Y was tested using the Kendall
correlation test using SPSS 26 software. To analyze the readiness of PKP-PK
questionnaire data and data from the PKP-PK unit were compared with
regulation Number KP 14 of 2015. To analyze the fire risk mapping using the
FAA's Risk matrix table, it is continued to calculate the Risk Priority Number.
From the results of the study, it can be concluded that there are still shortages of
emergency service facilities, including supporting vehicles, supporting equipment,
supporting equipment, breathing apparatus, the existing watch room has not been
utilized and the lack of personnel per shift. The reaction time and the minimum
category for PKP-PK have complied with the regulations. There are 4 risk events
that have potential hazards. The efforts that can be done are adding emergency
service facilities, increasing the number of personnel, and planning a system for
controlling potential hazard risk events.
