Abstract :
Sources of electrical energy in Indonesia still use a lot of conversion results from
fossil energy such as coal, gas and oil. This fossil energy source is getting less and less and
the price keeps going up and contributes a lot of carbon gas emissions that are released
into the air, renewable energy, such as solar energy, wind, hydropower, and biomass are
alternative energy sources that are environmentally friendly. which needs to be further
developed in the future.
The author's analysis will take into account the effect of implementing solar panels
on several obstacles to the failure of the electricity supply from PLN at Sultan Iskandar
Muda International Airport. The purpose of implementing solar panels is to overcome the
failure of PLN's electricity supply, save electricity costs and reduce carbon gas emissions
to the environment in a step to support the concept of an airport with green energy or Eco Airport, in the calculation method using component analysis, the effect of temperature and
also from an economic perspective on the initial investment of the project.
The results of the analysis show that the power that can be supplied by PLTS Hybrid
with storage of 88 batteries to be distributed to Critical Load is 337.879 Wh, and it takes
192 solar modules and 11 inverters. The PLTS project plan requires an installation area
of 357,525 m^2. For weather conditions, it is assumed that there are 6 sunny months and
6 rainy months so that the average electricity generated per day is 188.155 Kwh. In the
planned PLTS carbon emission mitigation action it can reduce 188.15 kgCO2 per day.
Development of the PLTS project in the initial investment with the method used is Payback.
The period of costs can be returned for 77.7 years so that it is declared unfeasible. cover
operational and maintenance costs until the life of the PLTS ends.
