Abstract :
Yogyakarta International Airport is located in Kulon Progo Regency,
Yogyakarta Special Region of Indonesia. An aviobridge is a bridge between the
aircraft and the airport terminal that facilitates the movement of passengers and
cabin crew, aiming to enhance passenger comfort and ease operational activities
for officers. Due to the high demand for aviobridge usage by ground handling
personnel, apron movement control officers face challenges, especially during peak
hours. Therefore, it is necessary to add more aviobridge units. This addition of
aviobridge units is also an effort to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the
apron area.
The methodology used is the linear regression forecasting method. Based
on the forecasting results for aircraft arrivals, the number of aircraft arrivals
during the period of 2023-2032 is projected to increase as follows: 12814, 15543,
18271, 21000, 23729, 26458, 29186, 31915, 34644 and 37372. Additionally, during
peak hours, the number of aircraft arrivals ranges from 8 to 14. The use of
aviobridges can increase aircraft ground time efficiency from 0% to 30% and
improve the effectiveness of parking stand usage from 100% to 142%. With a
financial analysis showing a cash-in of Rp. 1.131.101.055 per year and a cash-out
of Rp. 159.218.070 per year, the estimated payback period for the procurement of
aviobridges is 6.8 years, with an internal rate of return of 13.79%.
