Abstract :
On a flight route, many flight paths pass through several waypoints, so there are several variations of distance and time on that route. Therefore it is necessary to optimize the selection of the Adisutjipto (JOG) Halim Perdanakusuma (HLP) flight route by analyzing the waypoints that will be passed to get the distance and time traveled in the flight without the influence of wind or in case of wind. The method used in this study is the Shortest Path Method assisted by using the skyvector application to determine which waypoints will be passed and using a 1-day wind data sample. From the calculation results, the result is that the shortest route without the influence of wind on the JOG-HLP flight is through a route that has a total distance of 244 NM with the required flight time of 0.938 hours while the shortest route with the influence of wind on the JOG-HLP flight is at 01.00 UTC, 04.50 UTC, 08.40 UTC is faster using the green line with travel times of 1.014 hours, 1.025 hours and 1.027 hours, and the fastest time on the JOG-HLP flight is at 01.00 UTC using the green line which results in 1014 hours. So the result of the research obtained a difference of 0.076 hours (5 minutes) is obtained between without the influence of wind and being influenced by wind.
