Abstract :
Air conditioning is one of the existing systems on aircraft that is designed
to condition the air so that it remains comfortable for the pilot. Failures that often
occur in the air conditioning system are air conditioning not functioning and air
conditioning hot which can cause work hours to stop and delay. Therefore, it is
necessary to have time intervals and proper maintenance activities to keep the air
conditioning components operating effectively.
This research phase begins with determining critical components using the
criticality analysis method by calculating four criteria where there a high frequency
of damage, the impact of damage to sub-assemblies, difficult removal and
installation, high prices and ABC analysis. Then determine the value of reliability
and maintenance time intervals.
Based on the results of data processing, two critical components are
obtained, namely the inner blower and outer blower components. Then, the
reliability value of the inner blower component is 0.951 or 95.1% and the outer
blower component is 0.943283076 or 94.3%. The inner blower component with a
maintenance interval of 357.326177 hours or 15 days and was damaged three times
in three years while the outer blower component with a maintenance interval of
260.6274183 hours or 11 days and was damaged four times in three years.
