Abstract :
On October 28, 2020, for the first time Boeing B777-300ER by Garuda
Airline with 225 passanger landing at Yogyakarta International Airport. It was
confirmed that runway can be ussed by Boeing B777-300ER to performance
takeoff, landing, and no exception to rejected takeoff.
The purpose of this study is analyse takeoff distance Boeing B777-300ER in
conducting rejected takeoff just using reverse thrust. In this analyse need data of
aircraft specification, runway specification, and weather observation. All data is
using to calculate maximum takeoff weight (MTOW) and speed. With the
obtained MTOW and speed, it can be carried out an analysis of the runway
distance to perform rejected takeoff using only reverse thrust breaking.
From the analysis that has been done, it is concluded that the Boeing B777-
300ER aircraft requires a runway length of 3.056,772 m to 3.478,994 m based on
the potential for rejected takeoff.
