Abstract :
Technology has developed massively in the society 5.0 era. In that era,
communication played a very important role. With the presence of sophisticated
telecommunication technology, the speed of information transmission is increasing
very fast. In wireless communication technology, antenna plays a very important
role. The design and configuration of the apropiate antenna greatly affect the
quality of the transmission. The needs of antenna design that is conformable and
easy to place anywhere is required by the majority users of wireless
telecommunication. Microstrip antennas answer this challenge.
In this research, microstrip rectangular patch antenna is design and
simulated at 900 MHz. The FR4 epoxy with dielectric constant 4.3 and 1.6 mm of
thickness. This microstrip rectangular antenna adopt the inset feed method. The
parameter calculations are performed using manual and computational methods
with the help of Matlab® software.
This designed antenna works the best at frequency 865.3 MHz with -
24,9307dB of return loss, VSWR 1,12019 and 14,4 MHz of bandwidth. The
simulation was carried out using ANSYS HFSS v 18.2 software.
