Abstract :
The development of the era at the moment makes humans obsessed with the existing technology. Without realizing the technology that exists at the time makes human life patterns instantaneous. This way of life can be seen from one of the eating patterns. The diet of most people in this modern era is eating fast food and they order through online checks. Such patterns cause them to become mobile lazy and the fast foods they order contain a lot of high sugar levels regardless of the nutritional content. This instantaneous diet pattern affects a lot of people in Indonesia who suffer from diabetes. In this study, the authors made a non-invasive blood sugar meter that doesn?t use a single-use strip, does not hurt the user because the tool does not use needles and this tool will be more fast for screening blood sugar. The design of the tool uses Arduino uno as the primary control to process data taken from sensors made of LEDs and photodiodes. To calibrate this tool to be accurate, the authors collected blood sugar data from non-invasive and invasive blood sugar meters. The data collected was processed using the Microsoft Excel application with the linear regression method. The result of this linear regression is used to calibrate the instrument so that the blood sugar result approaches the invasive measuring instrument. The results of the research showed that the data taken from the sensor type ADC had a relationship with blood sugar values of 15.7522571%. For accuracy this device is compared with an invasive blood sugar meter, from the 10 data taken, the result was an absolute error average of 6,115 while the relative error average was 5,6559% and the instrument?s average accuracy was 94,3441%. In the future, this device can be used to screen the blood sugar levels of the community or the cabin crew that will fly. The tool also has a more efficient performance because in its use it does not require needles and stripes that are used once.
