Abstract :
The process of loading and unloading goods or ramp handling is one of the
important activities in the loading and unloading work system on the aircraft.
Loading and unloading activities are the activities of raising/lowering cargo items
from/into the compartment of each aircraft handled at the airport with manual
labor or PPM (Manual Material Handling). This work is done repeatedly
throughout the working day, this is very closely related to workload, especially
physical workload and posture if this activity is not done properly. Angkasa Pura
Logistik or better known as APLog, is a subsidiary of state-owned company PT
Angkasa Pura 1 (Persero) which is engaged in providing cargo shipping services.
The number of cargo shipping service providers that cooperate with Angkasa Pura
Logistics affects the amount of incoming cargo, so that the level of workload of
loading and unloading operators increases. This study aims to determine the level
of workload and determine the relationship between the results of physical
workload and age. Knowing the difference in physical workload measurement
results and the improvements needed to reduce workload. In this study, workload
measurements on operators were carried out using the REBA and CVL methods.
Where REBA is a method of measuring ergonomic work postures in the work
environment while CVL is a calculation method for classifying workload based on
workload calculations.
