Abstract :
In today's aviation field, accurate temperature measurement is essential to maximize the performance of a navigation device. The temperature measurement range on sensors is various, one of the sensors that can be used is the LM35 sensor. This research focuses on measuring room temperature of the Distance Measuring Equipment DME navigation tool at the ground station to maintain temperature stability in order to work optimally. Arduino uno is used as the main control. The LM35 sensor is placed in a room that is considered a Distance Measuring Equipment DME cabinet and receives temperature data that is detected then processed by Arduino Uno. The LM35 temperature measurement system can measure at temperatures from 18°C to 27°C. If the temperature is less than 18 °C then the heat element heater will automatically turn on and if the temperature is more than 27 °C then the cooling element peltier will automatically turn on. The Organic Light-Emitting Diode OLED viewer displays temperature measurement results in °C and Light Emitting Diode LED as indicators when the temperature exceeds normal limits. From the results of the design that has been made, the system can work well. The test results carried out by measuring the Distance Measuring Equipment DME room temperature measuring instrument were compared with the thermogun measuring instrument so that it obtained an average error value of 4.32% through the error formula calculation process.
