Abstract :
A smart home is a form of automatic control and monitoring of household
electrical appliances, lighting systems or home security systems, all of which can
be controlled and monitored directly according to the wishes of the owner. With
this research, users can control lights, fans, keep security from thieves, and detect
household gas leaks. In this research, a smart home design was carried out using
the Internet of Things method using NodeMCU V3 as a controller based on the
Blynk application. The results of the study show that the smart home design is
designed for home electronic equipment and all the indicators tested can operate
properly.
