Abstract :
Electricity is a very important human need, especially in the field of electronic
technology. There are types of sensors for measuring electricity which have
different functions, needs, and quality, in the form of INA219 and MAX471 sensors.
In the data collection process, there are 3 tests, namely functional testing,
calibration, and performance testing to compare sensor quality in Wattmeter
design. In this final project, a Wattmeter has been designed and implemented using
the INA219 and MAX471 sensors that can measure voltage, current, and power of
DC electrical equipment in homes, offices, including 12 V lamps, remote control
battery capacity, and other DC electrical loads. From the results of current, power,
and voltage measurements tested using the INA219 sensor, an average accuracy of
98.056% was obtained, and the same measurement results using the MAX471
sensor obtained an average accuracy of 97.903%.
