Abstract :
Campus introduction and promotion activities at ITD Adisutjipto uses
internet media and printed media containing images and information about the
campus. Of course, this method is still considered less creative and innovative
which could reduce information in terms of facilities. Therefore, an application is
needed that can introduce and provide information on buildings on the ITD
Adisutjipto campus in real life in a virtual world that can be run anytime and
anywhere with the Android-based 3D FPS Virtual tour application. Virtual tour is
a simulation of a location, FPS (First Person Shooter) is a first-person perspective
with the user as a player who sees the action through the eyes of the game
character. In this study, the method used is the Multimedia Development Life Cycle.
Based on the results of tests that have been carried out on Android device testing
and functionality testing, all application functions run well on the device tested. In
user testing from 40 respondents who installed the application on Andoid
smartphones, questionnaire answers were collected, then analyzed using a Likert
Scale and showed an index percentage of 88.75% which means that the Virtual
Tour 3D of ITD Adisutjipto application is said to be effective and feasible to use.
