Abstract :
Airworthiness is very influential to support the comfort and safety of a
flight, so as not to bring material or non-material losses. This Cessna C208-B
fuselage and instrument malfunctions identification system was built with the
Case-Based Reasoning (CBR) method, because this method produces a similarity
value of a case with the previous case by remembering similar events that have
occurred before, then performs the process of calculating the similarity value
between the new case and the case base using the Jaccard Similarity algorithm
and applying knowledge or information that aims to solve a new case by adopting
similar events that have been used before. This research has successfully tested
calculations using the Jaccard Similarity algorithm with test case data and
produced 1 case as the main answer and several other cases that are close, as
well as cases that have absolutely no similarities.
