Abstract :
Besides being famous as the city of students, this province is a province that is also known for a variety of interesting tourist destinations. There is one district that is visited by many tourists because it stores many tourist destinations, namely Gunungkidul Regency. In the Tourism Office, the existing data is still displayed in the form of raw data, namely in the form of tables, numbers, and text. From the above problems, an application system was built using data visualization techniques that can help the Tourism Office of Gunungkidul Regency in reading, monitoring, and updating tourism object data and tourist data. This study used the Prototype method and data was taken directly from the Tourism Office of Gunungkidul Regency. Prototype is a technique in developing a system that can make the system owner have an overview of the system to be built. This system is tested using User Acceptance Test (UAT) testing, functionality testing using the black box - testing method, and descriptive statistics to calculate the calculation comparison between manual and system. The results of this study show that the system that has been created can be well received by users. Based on the functionality test that the system is as expected and the comparison test of calculations between the manual and the system produces the same results.
