Abstract :
Yogyakarta International Airport (YIA) is a new airport located in Temon District, Kulon Progo Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta. YIA Airport is the first point for tourists using airplane transportation. Tourists who are visiting Yogyakarta for the first time will lack information about tourist attractions around YIA Airport. An application is needed regarding a recommendation system for attractions around YIA Airport. Then an application for a recommendation system for tourist objects in the YIA Airport around was created which is able to provide recommendations for tourist objects according to the criteria desired by tourists, by implementing the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) Method. In implementing the SAW Method using 4 criteria, namely price, facilities, distance, and cost. The calculation of the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) Method is in accordance with manual calculations and calculations for the application with the Glagah Beach tourist attraction getting the highest score of 100 and the user test using a Likert scale getting a score of 85.33%, which means the application is very effectively used.
