Abstract :
Technology has experienced a rapid development in various fields. One of
technology application is digital simulation. The slingshot game is a 3D game
simulation to see and observe the movement of the ball when it is released from the
slingshot. This game simulation can determine the maximum distance, time, and
height of the ball when it is release from the slingshot until it lands on the ground.
This simulation uses 3Ds Max software to model the slingshot and Unity software
to create the simulation. This slingshot game can be run on a desktop basis using
Windows operating systems. Formula that is used to find the maximum distance
and height when the ball is released from the slingshot is GLBB formula. The test
result show that with input in the form of speed and angle of inclination, the
slingshot game simulation can calculate the distance, time, and maximum height of
the ball. This slingshot game simulation is expected to help in understanding the
process of simulating a ball when it is launched from the slingshot until it lands on
the ground.
