Abstract :
The Bima City Government plans to build a government office adjacent
to the Bima City mayor's office, the building plan consists of a west wing and an
east wing. To avoid any losses or shortcomings during construction, the Bima
City government requires a 3-dimensional visualization application of the
building plan. This study uses the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC)
method in making visualization applications. In this visa application, it uses
characters from a first-person perspective as the user's media to see the 3-
dimensional structure of the building, the user can also move around in the
building area using the controls on the joystick. In making this visaulization
application, the objects used were created using the SecthUp application and the
preparation of the visualization was done using the Unity application. The final
result of the 3-dimensional visualization application is an android application
that runs on a smartphone and uses a VR box as a user media to view the
application. The application can run on all android OS with a minimum version of
Android 8 Oreo. User testing got answers from 31 respondents, user testing from
the Bima City government office as many as 6 respondents got a percentage of
74.44% including the "Good" category and user testing from the general public
as many as 25 respondents getting a percentage of 80.00% including the "Very
Good" category ".
