Abstract :
The need for human resources in an increasingly competitive world of work
raises concerns, especially in universities that must prepare human resources to be
accepted by the community. The breadth of the world of work makes the number of
types of jobs available, the hope of universities to graduates is that there are no
mistakes in choosing a job. For this reason, it is necessary to have a decision
support system to assist the job selection of graduates from 5 undergraduate study
programs and 1 Diploma Three study program at the Adisutjipto Aerospace
Technology Institute, Yogyakarta using the profile matching method. Using the
profile matching method, you can find out the calculation results from the highest
to the lowest value, with the highest value being the best alternative according to
what is recommended by the system. The results of this study provide a system
accuracy of 53%, thus it can be considered for the alumni of the Adisutjipto
Aerospace Technology Institute Yogyakarta in helping direct graduates who have
difficulty choosing jobs based on recommendations by the system.
