Abstract :
Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC) is a type of test for someone who
does not use English as the language of instruction. At the ITDA campus, the TOEIC prediction
test is used because later this D3 Aeronautics graduate will work in an environment that uses
English to communicate. The problem that occurs is that technological trends are increasingly
advanced and the pandemic has resulted in paper-based tests switching to online test platforms
available on the internet, so there is no privacy for question data, answers and student data.
From the existing problems, a website-based TOEIC prediction test system was made which is
equipped with the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method which is used to determine the
level of student understanding. SAW is a method of adding weights from the performance of
each object that is different and has the same opportunity on all the criteria it has. The criteria
used in this study are: listening, and reading. In black box testing, the results show that the
application can run well. The test results of the TOEIC prediction test score of a maximum
value of 990 and the students obtained the highest score of 885 and the largest value of 0.98 in
SAW obtained the level of understanding that is ""Advanced"". The TOEIC prediction test on the
tutor obtained the highest score of 935 and the largest value on SAW of 1.00 obtained the level
of understanding that is ""Advanced"". The results of the questionnaire that has been filled out
by 33 respondents get a conversion value of the Likert scale score of 3.52 with a very high
category.
