Abstract :
Grape is a type of fruit plant that has good nutritional value and is widely
produced in cold regions. The main challenge in increasing grape productivity is the
decrease in grape yields in the rainy season due to pests and diseases. There are many
not experience grape growers that hinder the healing of vines. The existence of expert
system research to diagnose pests and diseases in grapes helps grape farmers
overcome pest and disease problems. In this study, the Collaborative Filtering method
was used to determine the disease with the highest rating. The highest rating is
obtained from the descending mean absolute error. Grape farmers only need to enter
the symptoms experienced in the vines, which will then be processed by the system. In
black box testing, the results show that the application can run well. The results of the
manual calculation test using the Collaborative Filtering method are not much
different from the results of the system calculation with the highest MAE result by the
Red Mite at 3.2962294.
