Abstract :
The development of science and technology encourages humans always try to
produce more efficient equipment and can reduce performance or replace human power
in the form of machines. This study aimed to calculate the capacity of the candlenut shell
breaker at CV Utlindo Perkasa Kotagede Yogyakarta.
The research method used is experimental by calculating the generated capacity
for one hour. The parameters of this research are tool capacity, split result, shaft
strength, design, and crusher machine maintenance. The experiment was conducted by
calculating the capacity produced every one minute, with an average result of 18.4
kg/minute so that the resulting capacity was 1104 kg/hour.
