Abstract :
In an era that is developing like this, all aspects of life must also develop. A
house must provide a sense of security for its owner because the house is one of the
basic needs in human life. Door security is often not considered too important in
today's daily life. Therefore, an automatic door safety system was made. In the
security of this door system used is a selenoid door lock using a keypad and touch
sensors as a controlling device. Door security uses an Arduino Uno microcontroller
which is used for the main controller where the keypad functions as an input device
in the form of a passcode and enters commands on the microcontroller to set the
relay.
This study will discuss the manufacture of a prototype automatic door
security device. This door security device functions when a command is received in
the form of a password via a keypad to open the door from outside the room and
opens with a touch sensor to open the door from inside the room.
The test results have been applied showing that the solenoid door lock will
work well. The results of the touch sensor voltage test when not touched with fingers
is 0V while if touched with fingers the output is 4.9V, cloth gloves are 4.77V and
rubber gloves are 4.83V with a maximum distance of detecting touch is 2mm.
