ABSTRACT
UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle / UAV) aircraft have been used by CV. Arcapada
Raya by using a fly wing like Skywallker X8. In general, these aircraft have been
made with styrofom but cannot be used in the long term because they do not have a
strong structure and are not durable. Later remade the aircraft used carbon fiber
for long-term use because it has a strong structure and lightweight. One of the
features that this UAV aircraft does not yet have is the ability of VTOL (Vertical
Takeoff and Landing). The actuator will be responsible for moving parts such as
rotors or vertical jets required for vertical takeoff and landing. The skin on the wing
is also important because it can affect the speed of stability. So with the background
explanation above, the author focuses on the skin manufacturing process, the
equivalent aircraft Skywalker X8 VTOL. Vacuum bagging is a manufacturing
process used to produce strong and lightweight components using carbon fiber and
fiber cloth. The vaccum bagging method obtained with even results after vaccum
bagging is suitable for manufacturing Sky-Lab aircraft skin wings.
