Abstract :
Various types of technology have been created to make it easier for daily
activities to do their job. One of the developing technologies is technology in the
field of monitoring. Developments in this field require people to be able to make
optimal use of it. The realtime monitoring system is a method of monitoring a
parameter for 24 hours without stopping, while data logging is the automatic
recording of a parameter into a certain storage medium. Electrical energy is a
variable whose value is very volatile to observe. So from this, a realtime monitoring
system will be simulated with the observed parameters being the RMS voltage, RMS
current, power, power factor, and frequency.
In this research, a monitoring system simulation will be made using an ACS
712 current sensor and a stepdown transformer and a signal conditioning circuit.
As a data processor the results of sensor readings use ATMega 328P and send them
to a computer. The user interface used is a Labview application where the computer
acts as the server. The data logging process utilizes existing tools in the Labview
application.
Based on the results of simulation testing, it shows that the monitoring
system can perform its function properly on a realtime computer screen display.
Logging data can also be read through the notepad application on a computer. The
results of monitoring using linear loads have an RMS voltage error of 0.45%, an
RMS current of 0%, an apparent power of 0.45%, a power factor of 1%, and a
frequency of 0% and the results of monitoring using a nonlinear load with an RMS
voltage error of 0.45 %, the RMS current is 0,83%, the apparent power is 0.37%,
the power factor is 0%, and the frequency is 0%.
